On the afternoon of July 8th, Zhu Shanlu, member of Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Nanjing party secretary, Jiang Hongkun, vice-secretary and mayor of Nanjing led the NanjingParty and Government Delegation to visit Nansha. Zhu Xiaodan, member of Standing Committee of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Guangzhou party secretary and director of Standing Committee of Guangzhou People¡¯s Congress, Zhang Guangning, vice-secretary and mayor of Guangzhou accompanied them and attended the forum.
In the same afternoon, NanjingParty and Government Delegation, over 70 people, inspected Nansha Port Zone andLongxue Shipbuilding Base of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). Leaders of Guangzhou Port Group introduced the geographical advantages of Nansha Port Zone, its developing history and prospect in detail. They stressed that Nansha Port Zone had business contact with Nanjing Port and these guests from Nanjing highly praised the development of Nansha Port Zone.
After the inspection, the two parties had a forum about the social development of Huining and attended the signing ceremony of being friendly cities.
