On July 16^th, ProLogis, the biggest provider and facilitator of infrastructure facilities of industry and logistics and Guangzhou Nansha International Logistics Co., Ltd signed the agreement of cooperation principles. The two parties decided to found a Joint Venture to explore Guangzhou Nansha International Logistics Park. Zhang Guangning, mayor of Guangzhou, Chen Rugui, vice-secretary of city government, Tang Haohang, vice-secretary of city government, Luo Zhaoci, vice-director of the Management Commission and head of Guangzho Nansha Development Zone, Xiong Wenhui, vice-head of Nansha and Ma Jinghan, president of ProLogis attended the signing ceremony.

The Economic and Trade Bureau of Nansha Development Zone did researches actively on Longxue Island Logistics Functional Zone, attracted more business and investment to port logistics industry and pushed forward the construction and business attraction of Nansha Bonded Logistics Park and River-Sea Combined Transport Port. After its settlement in Nansha International Logistics Park, Prologis would make use of the worldwide network of the logistics park to provide high-quality service to the clients, to improve the management level and increase the volume of business of the park and to bring along the development of logistics and port. It would also bring new opportunities to the constructing industry of infrastructure facilities of industry and logistics in South China, further expand the logistics of Nansha Development Zone, develop port economy and strengthen the industry’s competitive power and enhance its ability of sustainable development.
