Information Times (Reporter: Zhang Peij, Correspondent: Nan Xuan) According to the information from the Eighth Plenary Session of the Nansha Development Zone Commission, Nansha was trying its best to build a coastal economic circle, high-tech industries like modern port construction, shipbuilding, logistics, electronics and automobiles took shape and it wanted to become a coastal city. The processing zone has been operating with the customs closed and it was applying for national bonded port which drew a lot of attention.
Luo Zhaoci, head and vice-secretary of the Zone Commission, revealed that Nansha, according to the standard of national bonded port, was pushing Guangzhou Nansha Port Zone and Bonded Logistics Center to develop relevant industries of import and export processing, bonded logistics, international freight transportation agency, ship agency, finance, insurance and trade exhibition.
It was said that Nansha Development Zone was applying for national bonded port, improving the opening capacity of Nansha Development Zone and Guangzhou or even Guangdong, advancing the development of its opening economy and realizing new take-off through the mutual development of Nansha Port Zone, Guangdong Nansha Export Processing Zone and Guangzhou Nansha Bonds Logistics Center.
