Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Dongfang Gas Turbine (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. ( " Mitsubishi Heavy Industries " for short ) is an international joint venture established cooperatively by Dongfang Steam Turbine Plant and Japan Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. It is a company that manufactures gas turbine heat components and provides after-sales service and maintenance of the gas turbines. Japan Mitsubishi Heavy Industries holds 51% of the whole shares, and Dongfang Steam Turbine Plant 49%. The total investment of the company is about 4.5 billion yen, the registered capital amounts to about 2.7 billion yen, and the sales volume reaches about 8 billion yen (2010 plan). The joint venture plant began trial operation in August 2005.
