Nansha Strand Gardens is a strand eco-living center that combines coastal living, housing, leisure, vacation, health preservation, health protection, food, entertainment, ecological, landscape, tourism, knowledge innovation, cultural exchange, and coastal business together as a whole. The first phase project covers an area of about 330,000 square meters, and the total architectural area amounts to about 160,000 square meters. The design of the architectures and the landscape is in accordance with the style of Australian Gold Coast. It introduces the "mall" concept from Australia to build a Leisure Sunshine Commercial Street. Besides, it also established an eco-thermostatic pool and the PRD region's first canal of 25 meters wide (up to 100 meters broad at its widest point) and 2-km long. A butterflylike design of the houses makes it able for every drawing room and most other rooms of each unit to face the ocean. Nansha Strand Garden has perfect auxiliary facilities. There are supermarkets and schools there. By car, it is only 3 minutes away from Jinzhou Business Center and the supermarkets, five minutes away from Nansha Harbor wharf by car, and 20 minutes away from the bridge of Fanyu City. Moreover, it takes just 25 minutes to head for Dongguan, 45 minutes for Guangzhou, 50 minutes for Shenzhen by car, and only 75 minutes for China HK City wharf by ship.The rapid transportation network system in the southern part of Guangzhou, which is fulfilled before 2004, will connect together Nansha Development Zone, Huangge Town, and Humen expressway, and thus, greatly improve the condition of external transport and connection. The first phase project mainly focus on the building of villas, supplemented by sealifts and houses. The environmental design adopts water as the designing theme, and it also includes artificial canals. The independent villas lie on both sides of the main watercourse, and the design follows the idea that the villas have a garden in the front and the wharf at the back.  This indicates a unique Australian waterfront landscape. There are four kinds of semi-detached villas, each with an area of about 138.29 = 184.31 square meters. Most of the terraced villas lie in the places around the central garden so that the residents could view and admire the central garden. The light steel structure of the Crystal Bay is in line with the energy-saving demand. It has been introduced that the products of light steel structure are durable and can be used for more than 75 years. Secondly, the materials of light steel structure, being famous for their thermal insulation and moisture resistance, can save 30% -50% more energy than the ordinary residence. Thirdly, a new construction mode is adopted so that compared with the concrete residence of the same design, the utility rate of the residence with the light steel structure increases by 8% -13%, and practical rate of the villa products goes up to 90%.
