Nansha Export Processing Zone in Guangzhou province was established on 3 June, 2005 after the ratification of State of Council, situated between the Tenth Branch River and the Eleventh Branch River in Sha Town( totally ten thousand qing, a unit of area (=6.6667 hectares)) in Guangzhou Nansha Economic and Technology Development Zone, with initial planning area of 1.36 square meters, and has successfully passed the official acceptance and inspection by nine national ministerial and commissions and run on 9 July, 2008. Nansha Export Processing Zone in Guangzhou province is allying with Nasha District Port and other organizations, totally 7.06 square meters, developing towards bonded harbor district with the characteristics of ¡°the highest level of development in mainland, the most superimposed policies, the most complete functions¡± in order to become the free trade zone in the future.
